This years Border City Steam Fair will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend of 2nd, 3rd and 4th June. The fair is held annually at Rickerby Park in Carlisle which is close to the M6 motorway, and only a short walk from the city centre. The fair is held in aid of the Eden House Children's Hospice, the Eden Valley Hospice and also the Pride Of Cumbria Air Ambulance.

The fair has all kinds of vintage exhibits including - Steam, Commercial, Military, Tractors and farm Implements, Cars, Motorcycles and Bicycles. There is also entertainment over the weekend including Flyin’Ryan’s Motorbike Stuntshow, and on an evening bands, disco, and a beer tent.

Over the bank holiday weekend, Rickerby Park is also home to Slaters family fun fair and Meshams Wall of Death.

Times:

Saturday and Sunday: 9am to midnight

Monday: 9am to 5pm

Admission is £7 per adult per day. Accompanying children under 16 go free.

Carlisle is easily accessible from any of our cottages in the Eden Valley and cottages in Ullswater.
