Scenic drives through the Lake District in Cumbria

Cumbria is a beautiful county in Britain, and the best way to see it is by car, bicycle, or on foot. There are stunning vistas at every bend in the road. A perfect visit will be one of discovery, tossing the map aside. Each morning will bring something new, from a visit to Muncaster Castle to the stone circle atop Castlerigg.
Tea Party with Peter Rabbit

If you have booked one of our self catering cottages or apartments for February half-term why not take the family along to The World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness on Windermere on Thursday 16th February and enjoy a tea party lunch with Peter Rabbit. The party starts at 1pm and includes a lunch of sandwiches, crisps and cakes, a special guest of honour who will read The Tales of Peter Rabbit, and entry into the main attraction.
