Lying at the entrance to the peaceful Kentmere valley Staveley is set in the Lake District National Park near Windermere. Hideaway Cottage is a detached character cottage tucked away in a cluster of cottages, surrounding a communal lawned area,in Banks Fold in the centre of this popular Lakeland village.

A beautifully presented sitting room with inviting living flame gas stove beckons you as you enter this attractive Lakeland Cottage, furnished to delight. Well equipped dining kitchen. Upstairs you will find two well presented co-ordinated bedrooms and a pleasant fully tiled bathroom.

Staveley is a “mecca” for mountain bikers and cyclists due to Kentmere and Garburn Pass being on its doorstep, and there is a good sized cycle superstore in the village. Also within the thriving village you will find a couple of pubs, Haweshead brewery and bar, two cafes, an artisan bakery, Spar shop, a butchers, chemists and a children’s play area. Windermere is but a few miles away and travelling in the opposite direction is the medieval market town of Kendal, which is known as the gateway to the lakes.
